Generator exhaust systems carry hot, corrosive gases through occupied buildings and out above the roof. Premier Mechanical installs new exhaust systems, replaces corroded ones, and fabricates the supports, penetrations and stacks needed to route exhaust safely.

How a Project Proceeds

  1. Survey

We trace the existing or proposed route and identify penetrations, supports and lift requirements.

  2. Planning

Work areas, lifts and any generator outage are planned with the facility.

  3. Fabrication

Supports and components are prepared in our shop where practical.

  4. Installation

The exhaust system is installed, supported and finished at each penetration.

Working in Occupied Facilities

Exhaust work often passes through service corridors and occupied areas. We fence off work zones, schedule noisy or overhead work with the facility, and keep the generator's outage as short as possible.
