About Premier Mechanical
Established in 2006, we are a TSSA-registered fuel safety contractor specializing exclusively in the critical mechanical infrastructure behind emergency generators and fire pumps.
Our Technical Focus
Premier Mechanical is not a general mechanical contractor. We do not install HVAC systems for commercial tenants or handle generic plumbing. We focus entirely on life-safety and emergency power fuel systems.
Customers rely on us because when an emergency generator or diesel fire pump fails to start, the facility is at risk. That means the fuel system—the tanks, the transfer pumps, the piping, the controls, and the exhaust—must be engineered, installed, and maintained to the highest possible standard.
Our team consists of highly specialized tradespeople, including OBT1, PM2, and PM3 technicians, as well as licensed welders. We understand the stringent regulatory environment in Ontario and execute work in accordance with TSSA requirements and CSA B139 standards.
Leadership: Paul Kerslake
Founded by Paul Kerslake, Premier Mechanical brings decades of deep mechanical trade experience to every site. With 34 years in the trade and an OBT1 qualification, Paul's approach to quality sets the standard for the company.
He takes a hands-on role in reviewing complex projects, ensuring that challenging installations—such as occupied high-rise upgrades or sensitive healthcare facility replacements—are planned with meticulous attention to detail and executed safely.
